First things first... lets get to know each other. From the very first inquiry I like to ask some questions to find out what type of session you are interested in and a little about your family so that I can plan a shoot that will best fit what your looking for and also so that on the day of the shoot we feel like we know each other better.I will send you an email with a questionnaire and a pricing menu for you to look over and think about. 

 

Next, if all seems good and you have picked which session package you would like to do, we can pick a date and schedule your shoot! During the time between booking and the actual day of the shoot I will keep in touch with you to see if you need help with wardrobe ideas, pick a location and go over any special ideas you may have for the shoot. I would encourage you to make a Pinterest dream board for any outfit ideas or any images you love and share any must haves with me so I can do my very best to capture what is most important to you.

 

The big day is here! I like to try to make it as fun and relaxed for kids and parents as possible. I like to come up with games and conversation prompts to get the shoot rolling and to encourage natural interactions. Maybe your little one has a favorite outside game they like to play, or are they adventurous and like explore their surroundings? Ok, lets do that! Or maybe they have a favorite song that they get giddy over every time they hear it? If I know these things ahead of time I can plan the shoot accordingly so that we can have a fun time while I document your family. I will plan to get a combination of candid shots along with some posed shots as well. And I totally understand if kids need to take a break and get some energy out or have a snack. Don't worry, Just relax, and take a break. It's ok! The best images are when you are being yourselves so don't feel bad if you gotta what you gotta do, and I'll shoot from a distance and get some candid shots. ( that's what I love to do anyways, no biggie)

 

About 3 weeks after the shoot you can expect to get an email from me with a link to your gallery of fully edited images for you to choose from, download and share with friends and family. You will also be able to choose any extra images you would like to add and have edited or purchase prints from your gallery. Thats it!
